I think my position, as
a female teacher is a good example of a positive role model that can inspire
girls in their education. As South Sudan has gone through a serious issue of
girl drop out, I think the best way that I can use to encourage girl’s education
is through the syllabus. I will develop an engaging curriculum that includes
diversity and relevant issues to Gender by introducing lessons that talk about
the success girls from other country have achieve through education and also use
many educative programs that were done by school girls of other countries
inform of activities so as to attract them. I will design activities that will
much base on student centered. Although the student centered might not be
effective sometimes, but I will emphasis much on cooperative activities where
they will be divided in to groups and each person in the group will present to
the other group and vise visa so that all the shy girls will participate in the
class. Lastly, I will not just consider my self as a teacher but a best friend
with motherly love and always motivate, appreciate and encourage them in their work.
So friends don’t you
think adding diversity in our lessons can be another way of inspiring girl’s
education?
